Hey everyone by the way before u read this the search function doesn't seem to work whenever I use my laptop so sorry if this has already been asked.
Just got my 03GT a few months ago and after driving it stock for a while I'm ready to start doing some modifications. Right now I only have 200 but I get paid friday so I'll have another 600 coming my way. What is a good list of mods I still want this car to be a daily driver but there may be the occassional trip to the track when I go out with this little mustang car club i joined.

What is involved with a N20 upgrade, and what do you think it would cost. I run a 07 GT?

For the 07, go to one of the S197 sites.
I am not sure if you have to run a wet kit or not.
If you can do the work, and you have to use a wet (plumb in the fuel line), it would cost about $800 with a good controller.

I don't know if I would go the N2O route at this time. I was thinking like what gears to get maybe CAI suggestions anything else that I can do without having to change internals.
But thanks for you suggestion.
O and if you know how much boost can we handle safely on the stock motor before it blows?

03s are not my specialty:frown:
03 with CAI is different that the 07s:) So, I can see you going that route, although 100 shot is awesome!!!!!

well i'll definately be getting a CAI. The exhaust isn't stock but since the previous owner did it I'm not sure what kind it is.
I've been looking at this BBK Cold Air Intake. (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=BBK-1718&N=700+4294924641+4294908331+4294908282+4294840044+ 4294888503+4294849633+115&autoview=sku)
After that I don't really know which direction to go. I'm looking for some simple bolt-ons for now. But after CAI I can't really decide.

FYI - Your '03 Mustang GT came from the factory with a CAI.

Really? I thought that was just a stock air box never seen a plastic CAI before, but then again I'm new to performance mods my car before this was an 87 Olds. Thanks for the info, I would've been pretty mad if I bought one and didn't gain anything from it besides less money in the bank.
So I guess I can put that money towards something different. But now I'm back to my first question. What next, I know what mods are out there that I can get but which ones are worth the time and money.
I feel like such a newb.

Alright so I've been doing some searching and heard that a set of underdrive pulleys may be the way for me to go for my 1st mod. Its between this (http://www.americanmuscle.com/st4unpum20gt.html) set and this set (http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-aluminum-pullies-2001-2004.html) the only difference I can see besides price and looks is that the steeda set has a few better reviews but the bbk set promises better gains than steeda. Can anyone bring me up to speed on this?
Is it even a worth while mod?
Is there a chance that it could interfere with any other type of mods?
Thanks again I'll try to ask a few questions at a time because I have hundreds if not thousands and I don't want to overload any one/ seem to needy all at once.
Another question that is more for a friend than me considering my clutch is fine. His just went out, his mustang is stock but he is on his 2nd or 3rd clutch in the last year. I know stage 2 and 3 clutches are needed when you have a lot of power but would it benefit him to go to stage 2 so his clutch can last longer. I don't know what he does to burn through them so fast but he had a stock civic before the mustang and he went through clutches then also. Maybe its just his driving habits.

BBK underdrive pullies are "piggy back style".
They use a crank pulley that piggy-backs over your existing stock harmonic balancer/dampener.
Steeda underdrive pullies are "non-piggy back style".
They use a crank pulley that has its own harmonic balancer/dampener bulit in .
I recommend the Steeda pullies.
You will gain about 5 rwhp (rear wheel horse power).
Underdrive pullies are not recommended for supercharger applications.

Thanks for you input JR people like you are why these forums are great.
Steeda seems like the way to go. My tax return was just deposited into my bank account so hello extra 1400. I guess after the pulleys I'll probably be back in the same situation wondering which route to take next.
