HONDA NSR500 Gresini 1998

It's my first time to post art here. This bike was rode by Alex Barros in 1998. Special decal is made by Reji. All body color was sprayed with masking tape. Finished in July, 2008. Thanks.

I did not take any picture in WIP because one hand I needed to hold the pipe and another hand I had to hold airbrush, no third hand to take camera... so let me try to explain simply
1. Spray gloss black on pipes
2. Spray plate silver on pipes(I used GSI SM serious)
3. Cut about 1mm wide masking tape to tape along welding line where you want to show
4. Along tape to spray clear black very carefully, very small pressure from compressor, tiny line...
5. Then you can weather and sweep them with dark and silver color to look as real exhausts
Of course, you can spray other metallic color. I almost try different method to show 2 strokes exhaust on each GP500 bike, more fun then 4 strokes exhaust...
