Windows

I have a '98 xk8 conv. which has been in the garage over the winter. The battery lost charge & I had to go thru the steps of jumping it first from the lug under the hood to open the trunk & then jump the battery. After I did this the side windows no longer adjust back up after opening the door. (On the conv. when you open the door the windows open slightly & then go back up after the door closes). Does anyone have info on this. My nearest dealer is 75 miles away & if I dont have to make the trip it would be nice.:crying:
