I have an EF hatchback in HK.
Today I swap the cluster guage from Japan EF7 CRX, everything works except the Hazard Flasher light. Since there is no such light bulb in the CRX guage cluster, any idea how to get it work?
Thanks a lot.

welcome to the board!
I'm not sure exactly what it is you are talking about. Are you saying that you don't have a switch for the hazards anymore?
My guage cluster doesn't really have anything to do with my hazard lights, except that when the hazard lights are flashing, so do the turn signal indicators...
So if you could clarify exactly what the problem is, it would be easier for us to help you.

ill assume in hong kong on there "JDM" :D hatchs they had a light to tell you when your hazards are on and the crx's didnt have such a light, so you can make one if you really need to have it, but i dont think its nescesary, but you could be talking bout something totally different.

Thanks U guys' reply.
I think I need to clarify a bit here.
EF7 gauage cluster don't have the hazard flasher light on it (not the turn signal), but my own gauage has the light bulb. However, my hazard light and the battery light don't share the commond ground which means it need exactly 4 pins in the plug.
In the EF7 gauage, since there is no such hazard light bulb. Instead there is a catalyst light and they do share the same ground with the battery which means it need 3 pins only.
I connect all other pins without problem, but without the hazard flasher pins connected, my turn signal lights won't be on even if I press on the hazard light button. I don't really mind if there is such hazard light on the gauage or not, but I need the turn signal light on when I press hazard flasher button.
What I have is the turn signal light won't flash even I press the hazard flasher button. I am wondering if there is anyone have the same problem when installing the EF7 gauage from Japan.
Thanks U guys

if you flip your turn signal on from the stalk on the steering wheel, do the turn signal lights on the outside of the car come on?
if they do, why do you need them to turn on in the guage?

The problem I have is the hazard light doesn't on and the turn signal doesn't on when the hazard button is pressed. If the direction signal light is on when I press the hazard light, it is ok.... but nothing is on now.

so the moral of the story is you need another ground? it all plugs in? if it does you could go and buy a pin and a length of wire, put in the new pin and hook the wire up to the body or splice it into a ground some where along the the way...
