Water In The Trunk?

Why does water keep appearing in my trunk on the right side?

Leaking around the tail light.

I had same problem...water got in through tail lens cover into the trunk and eventually into the back seat. I just put some caulk around the inside and it stopped. I had after market covers that only magnified the problem.
