I have a 78 monte carlo that I am wanting to customize into a ss shape fron end and rear end. Is there a website or possible way I am able to make my 78 into a ss body style. Thanks.

Also it has a 267 v8 in it right now...I was wondering if maybe a 383 Stroker would fit under the hood with a 700R tranny.

I have not come across any companies that offer panels and other body parts for the '78 to '80 body style. Perhaps because that body style was only produced for a short duration and there may not be enough demand. If there was such a company willing to custom make something for your car, it probably would be quite expensive. I think I remember seeing many years ago a company that had specialty body parts to customize El Caminos and Malibus, and Regals from those years. The Monte shares the same platform as those vehicles so you might want to research that option to see if a company still exists that sells those parts, and if they will fit/bolt on to your car. Good luck.

Okay, I thought about this after posting. I wanted to see if any companies had started selling these types of parts since the last time I looked,( which was before the Internet came into being  as I owned a '78 Monte in the late '80s)
Here's what I found:
http://www.eharwood.com/index.php
http://www.laureneng.com/
http://www.goodmarkindustries.com/HomePage.html
You could contact any of these companies and inquire as to their products for your car. Another place to check is the ads in a recent edition of Hemmings Motor News, a monthly publication for classic, antique and other car hobbyists. It contains both private sale ads and ads from restoration and other types of parts/services related to cars.
