engine swap from v6 to v8

im a little stuck and needin some help. im currently in process of doing an engine swap in my 98 mustang. right now i have a 3.8 and im tryin to put a 4.6 DOHC in its place. the 4.6 came out of a police cruiser and im needin to know every thing that i need to change over and what can stay, and how i need to go through with the process. right now i have an automatic aod tranny but im wanting to possibly trade it off so i can have my car to be a 5 spd so if you can im gonna need a little help on that to if possible.
i really appreciate it if any one can help me out.:confused:

Sell your '98 V6 and buy a 1996 - 2001 Cobra.
It will be much less expensive.
