I am looking into getting a 3 inch body lift...apart from cost what difference is there beetween body and suspension lift?.........(I have already ordered 30x9.5x15 tires).

A suspension lift raises the frame, not a wise move due to the added stress to all 4 CV joints, all 4 ball joints, and to both of the outer tie rod ends. A body lift raises the body off the frame and leaves the suspension untouched. If you feel the need to lift, a body lift is the way to go.
