Front Driveshaft removal?

I need to take the front driveshaft out of my 2000 Blazer 'cause the CV Joint is worn and vibrating. Can handle the front U-Joint just fine, but what about the rear joint?? How does that separate from the transfer case? Is it a shaft with a snap ring that simply pops out? Or is there more to it than that? Help/advice would sure be appreciated.

The driveshaft does not need to be removed to replace the either CV joint or the half shaft assembly.

To take out the front axles you need to remove the brake caliper and rotor.. Then pop the lower ball joints loose to gain access to the axles.... take a pry bar and pop the axles out of front diff. Should take about a couple of hours if ya never did it before.

You are thinking about the half-shafts from the front differential to the tires. He is talking about the driveshaft (atleast that is what I think) which also has a CV joint where it joins the transfer case.
