transmission jerking problem

after a month of driving my 1998 plymouth voyager, it finally gave me a SERVICE CHECK ENGINE SOON error. so here i went to a Chrysler Jeep Dealer for diagnostic.
1. they said my cooling fan relay is at failure costed $92 for the part
2. they re-programmed my PCM for $320 lousy bucks.
they worked on it for 4 hrs for this job and i drove it home with no service lights but the jerk still there. right after lunch i dropped my wife to the mall then guess what???????????????????????????? DAMM SERVICE LIGHTS CAME ON again and this time NO JERK , van goes forward , reverse
but WILL NOT SHIFT TO 2ND GEAR OR THIRD OR FOURTH.
so i drove the van to same dealer where i had it in the morning and told them what happened. same guy diagnosed it and TOLD ME I HAVE A BIG FUCKING PROBLEM......
he said the valve internal body inside the transmission just above the pan is deteriorating and getting bad, reason he has to change it in order to make it to work and driveable again. assumning it is the cause of the jerking so i said go ahead and fix it.
so he did replaced the valve and body computer as well because my blinking lights wont disappear. after all was done i had to pay $420 bucks total of $840 from my wallet that one day.
so far so good after driving it back home about 950 miles , all is well and drives smooth.
THE PROBLEM WITH THE JERKING ON THE BEGINNING WAS JUST THIS INTERNAL VALVE , reason even i changed the tranny filter and fluid 4X did not fix the jerking, replacing those sensors did not fix the problem either even the busted tranny rubber mount , eevn re-training the tranny or flashing the TCM will not work either.
messing up with those electrical connectors and modules and fuses did not help either .
its just my experience having the first american vehicle in my life
in short . im keeping the van hope this help.
thanks to all
