Serpentine Belts

I picked up three Gatorback belts for the 2001 CR-V, but there is no space at all to remove them. Anyone know how to go about replacing the Serpentine belts for this car? I'm used to a tensioner pulley being turned left and then the belt slipping off. But, like I said - everything is so crammed in this engine area.

Any input would be much appreciated!!!

You'll need to jack up the driver side. remove the tire, remove the splash shield. remove the lower mount.

The alt belt. - Loosen the lower alt mounting bolt. loosen the upper alt mount bolt the alt will move towards the engine and the belt will slack.

P/S. - Loosen the pump mounting bolts. Sometimes there is a wing nut to loosen up the tension sometimes there isn't

A/c - look in between the ac pulley and the crank pulley from the top and you will see the tensioner pulley. Loosen the nut that holds the pulley on. Turn the adjuster bolt, which is in between the pulley and the block, counter clockwise

I should also mention that there is a TSB for aftermarket belts (not sure if it applies to your model year), especially alternator belts, that cause check engine lights for misfire codes. I have only run into this one time and don't recall what kind of belt was used.
