Completed Evo 8(Lousy work by me..)

Completed my Evo 8 but was very disappointed with the end results..
Everything seems to go wrong into doing this car...
So here are the pics(taken in the night) will post more daytime pics if requested..
I know that the design might not appeal to most of you but its just a design that I wanted to try out..

That looks great to me:D I like the color

Doesn't look too bad! The only thing i would say is that the decals on the rear wheel arch and at the front to the side of the headlights spoil the lines of the car a little.

same here i just dont like the front black lines other than that its very nice

It looks good, exept for the stock wheels and the factory "altezzas" :D But everything else looks cool. :)

actually i wanted to give it a stock car look totally...
then bad things happened and i resprayed the car 2 times...
then it happened again :mad:
dun understand why i keep dropping the car....
being mad, I did not want to respray the whole car a 3 time so i did the stupid designs... i agreed that it does not look very nice... not like an evo 8 at all but an evo 7....

Guess its time to let my modelling tools and all rest and take a break from modelling for the time being....:cry:

The euro tail lights were done by me... this stupid kit does not provide it at all... came with the same as evo7... which is wrong as evo 8 comes with euro tail light...

Why take a break? Just work harder and more precise on the next one and it'll be great.

haha... Every morning when i wake up, I do my models till its time to go out... when I reach home i continue doing till the wee hours of the night and wake up early the next day to continue... better take a break and take a stroll and see the changes around me...

My gf complain to me the other day when we went out and the roads have all been diverted due to some works and I went blur and did not know which route to take then she say "Everytime with your models. Changes around you don't know. Like a person who have left the country for years and just returned..."

Looks good. by the way what design is it on the side of the car? I can't really figure out, looks like a dragon, is it?

Forgot to mention, Congrats on being the first one to complete and evo 8 here, if I'm not wrong.

good job, I don't think the stock wheels suit the aggressive, dragon paint job - drop it onto some bigger wheels and it'll look much better and aggressive.

being able to c one on the streets here, i'll have to say you did a pretty good job~ but ya the black design is kind of weird but o well~:)
keep it up!

Hi ~ Hey... i'm so surprised by Fujimi's Evo VIII. I think the stock car look nicer. Hmm... I guess your headlamps spoilt everything, if not, it will be a nice car.. Don't be so harsh on yourself, it's as good as anything I've ever done, I've just bought the Tamiya Evo VII WRC and the kit looks awesome, so detailed and well done, have a go at one and try and improve on your Evo VIII.

actually to say, everything just seems to go wrong with this evo 8..
I can do better then this but this car seems jinxed to me...

Ar, 1 of those day slah srlxy, everything goes wrong. Same applies to other things in life not only modeling.

Take a break and while you r at it, U'll bond to get more ideas and they'll spur you on definitely.

Then we'll see a rejuvenated srlxy again.

Anyways, that dragon isnt easy to do thats for sure. So even if the car didnt turn out the way you like it, at least you tried and to be true to yourself, thats more important.

Looks a lot better. Just think of it as an open exhaust, like a real WRC. :)
