I own a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L . Today when i was driving home my truck started to lose power. It started to run pretty rough at stoplights and seemed like it was gutless. I had codes reading po300-po308 and its showing multiple misfires. Any information would be greatly apreciated on where to start. thanks!

That could be caused by a few things, could be yur coil, a clogged fuel filter, clogged air filter...... but if it happened sudden like that then it is probably the coil, test it and replace if it's ng. i would start there.
let me know how u make out.

The fuel filter is in the tank part of the fuel pump.Another thing to check is when the plugs have been changed last.Could need a tune up,plugs and wires.Stick with Champions on Chrysler products.I see nothing but problems with Bosch plugs in Chrysler products, junk and throw them in the garbage can even the new plugs.

May not be the case for you, but I lost severe power at speed one day and it turned out the catalytic converter rusted internally and plugged up. I scratched my head for a while on that one thinking it was electrical. Smack it with a BFH.

I'd also say CC, And if it is bad , your plenum gasket is toast. Check it, http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2000/09-05-00.htm.
