I have a 98 buick lesabre with 3800 II with 204,000 miles on it. The problem is the car randomly stops firing..at first it would die on acceleration after a stop, about once a month. It would start right back up. It's been doing it for years. Now it dies it almost daily, and has to sit for a few minutes before it starts back up..
things I have done...hundreds of bottles of injector cleaner, replaced fuel filter, replaced crankshaft position sensor, replaced mass air flow sensor, replaced ignition module, replaced camshaft positon sensor..several mechanics have also looked at it and all were left scratching their heads. does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to AF. Basics here, when it won't start do you have spark and injector pulse and 47 psi fuel pressure. A scanner will look at injector pulse and cranking rpms which would eliminate the cps and icm as a rule.

It has fuel just no spark...It does it and random and usually when I'm miles away from a scanner.

No spark would indicate either the CKPS, ICM, PCM, wiring, poor grounds, or connectors. It's a shot in the dark without some codes, even then; it would be nearly impossible to troubleshoot from this perspective.
