Looking to buy a older Z

im thinking of purchasing a mid-late 80s z car... i was wondering if there was anything i should specifically watch for on these cars that would be costly to repair initially, i expect to drain some money into this car.

Also i have wondered if anyone has managed to fit a half stack & guitar in one of these cars?
