So my 93 Old's 88 will have 99k on it by the end of next week.
sooo.. it's getting old and its time to do some top end work. I would like to replace the valve springs push rods and roller/rocker I have one week to do it as I'm taking a five day vacation from work..

so any tips any parts I should be looking at?

I was just going to get Genuine GM parts but any performance recommendations would be nice
Thank you thank you thank you!!

99k ? spend all that money on wine women and song, not the top end. I bet that unless a valve spring breaks ( and that seams to be rare and random) that top end is just broken in and not worn out.
that is unless you dont change the oil or have a rather heavy foot. Personaly I would spend that cash on a wet NOS kit for the same price

I agree with the previous post. Why spend time on something that might otherwise be in good shape. If you vehicle has had regular maintenance done on it, chances are that everything is ok.
One thing that I might recommend is replacing the intake manifold gaskets, clean out the throttle body and related components. Replace all the vacuum line connectors and valve cover gaskets.
If everything looks good and the car runs good with no codes, no further action is required. Perhaps a minor tune up is in the cards as well, plugs, air filter, pcv valve and O2 sensor.

As always, just my opinion.
