replaced hub - now I have abs and tcs lights on

I have a 2000 GTP. I recently replaced my drivers side hub with a new Timken unit. The next day my lights started coming on. Sometimes no lights, sometimes just the TCS, usually both the TCS and ABS lights. I checked the connections 3 times. I took back the hub and got another brand new one under warranty. When I replaced the hub the 2nd time I made sure that the wires and connections on the 1st hub looked good, and then ensured that I had a good connection the 2nd time. I drove it for 20 minutes - and then both lights came on. Could I have another wheel needing a hub replaced?

Thanks,
Spencer

You need to have you car scanned with a code scanner that is ABS capable. That way you will know where the problem is, it is possible that you have another defective hub. Or you may have to check your wiring for continuity.

did you torque the axel nut down to spec? Is it connected correclty? Any pinched or split wires? Were the lights on before the hub replacement?

I torqued the axle nut to spec. I have checked and re-checked the routing and connection of the wires. I have not done a continuity test on them. The lights were not on before replacing the hub.

I will try to find someone with a scanner that can check the ABS system.

Thanks for all the help!
