I have the code for my radio but when I turn the radio on it says "CO 2" not code. If I punch in the code I get an error message. Any ideas? I'm going crazy without some music.:screwy:

I'd go to a dealership and ask them what it means or break down and buy an aftermarket and install it.

Just a shot in the dark here...I've never messed with security codes on Hondas...

But GM Theftlock uses a series of three digit codes...you enter one string, confirm, enter the next, confirm, etc.

Is your code all one string of numbers? Any way it could be broken down like this? Do you have the actual instructions for a reset?

http://www.carspace.com/guides/Honda-Radio-Codes

I was reading through this and they say after some number of attempts to enter the code incorrectly it will lock up and not accept any more tries...has to be reset by pulling the radio fuse or disconnecting the battery again.

They describe how to get the radio to display it's serial number so you can call the dealer and obtain the proper security code from them.

I don't know why they would give you the code, kind of defeats the purpose of a security lockout, but maybe they figure nobody is gonna bother stealing one of these units anyway.

GM dealers aren't that cooperative...they want that $50 to reset it.

Worth a try and a phone call though...
