you know whats funny about his car is it looks like shit, but hes probaly put more money into his car than a lot of people on this forum. once he gets it painted, he should have one of the nicest cars period! keep up the good work!

I got over 2gs in body and it STILL looks like ass :(

Sorry, no b16 in the 89, the name is my AIM handle (although I do own a 2K Civic Si as well).

I will post pics sometime, just have to learn how to do it.:) I just bought the 89 a few months ago and it needs alot of work. That's ok though, I like turning wrenches and I've always wanted a project car.:D

I got about $10-15G's around $15,000 including the new motor... and $1500 for a B16 Civic is a SWEET deal! Were do you live?

i have about $10,000 into my car already, plus $5000 for the car itself, and my car doesnt even run right now:)

I live in the middle of NY, which coincidentally, is also the middle of nowhere. Although it is nice up here if your into nature and outdoor stuff. :)

Also to clarify, the 89 Si has the stock motor (d16a6?). My other car (2000 Civic Si) has the b16a2.

BTW travis_118, that's a great looking Civic! :cool:

it looks like a candy apple red with a fewshades darker basecoat? i forgot to put i paid 2g's for my car. and i'm painting it black w/ a red flake and red ghost flames. :D about 400-600 in paint. thank god i paint cars.

its actually a stock color off a 2000(i think) bravada. he saw it on a car in a dealer and decided he wanted that color.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I know thw outside looks like ass but I spent allot of time and money in just getting the parts I need to get the car painted. The back SiR bumper alone was a mission in itself!. I have about $3,200 into the motor including install. This includes, the Type R headers, Mugen chipped ECU, CTR Cams & cam gears, Tenzo Bolt on Touring muffler (Will Dyno before more mods added). The seats are wrapped in tweed. I finally got tags for my 4G sedan so, I have a car to drive now while I paint my hatch. Will post more pics soon! Thanks for the feedback!!!!

Really sharp looking car dude, I can't wait to see it when its painted. Is that Mugen valve cover a fake? If so, where did you get it? :)

i noticed some of u sayin how much u have put into ur car...well im really not sure and i didnt wanna keep count but i will say around 6-7g's...i got mostly everything from my car from an old friend for cheap so its kool. the only thing i can relate to is this pic i added ;) http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/843564goinbrokeinstyle.jpg a pic of a 90-93 accord since my bro owns 1 and can relate to it as well :p

yeah... the "MUGEN" valve cover is a fake. When I got my swap, the valve cover that I got w/ it was beat to hell, so I painted it. I just really like the way the "MUGEN" one looks.... stands out. I got it for $150. Here's a pic of my front seats and the teg console.

Ahh, I just got back to this thread... And yes, one day I will post picks... Despite all my efforts my car still looks like ass. As soon as it meets my satisfaction I will post... Untill then.

of course they'll be good. :) i dont care about my exhaust its getting replaced anyway...i know it looks crappy and dont sound that great either.

Thats basicaly what I think when i look at my car... BTW, no taking pics of the pasenger side... Thats were the knarley dent is... Pluss I missing the corner light on that side anyway. You can take a pic of my bitchen interior thoe! I bet no ones got bomb ass interior like I do!
