Is it possible?

Hi All. I've got a 97 Voyager SE with 15" rims the transmission is toast so I picked up a 98 Caravan Base with 14" rims. Is it possible to swap the rims and tires over without alot of work. I'd really hate to part with the tires as i bought them new 1 month before. Short of swapping spindles,calipers,rotors etc...Am I opening up a big can of worms. Thanks for any input.

205/70/14 - 215/65/15 I've tried to switch the wheels already and it seems that the stud centers are different.

they should go straight on no problem.

Barring anything else, they should go right on. I'm not sure if there is any difference or not due to rear disc vs drum but you will find out if that won't work out. There may be an issue as far as tire size and speedo recalibration goes. Can you post the tire size of the 14" and the 15" rims?

I work at napa and I checked to see if there is a difference. The front rotors are different, rear drums are different (although I cant find a difference). I dont list a different rear rotor for 14 over 15. By the research i have done, you may be able to fit the rims over the rear brake drums or rotors which ever you have. You may run into problems with the front, the rotors for 15 inch wheels are bigger than the rotors for 14 inch rims. Also the front hub assembly is different. So what i am saying is if you change the front rotors and hub assembly you should be ok. also check for clearence on the rear brake system when you put them on. Thanks Guys. I've picked up a set of 15" cirrus chromed alloy rims. No hassle installation. Now my van looks Swweeeeet!
