Question about my intercooler

I have a few questions to ask. I built my own "super cooler" with a new heater core and an aluminum box. I am concerned about flow and that the fill tube never seems to get to the full mark. I have added coolent and when I start the car it burps it out. Is it not getting up to temp or is the heater core not allowing it to function properly? I have a Scan Gauge in the car and see that intake temps are never more than 4 degrees over outside air temp. Is the intake temp sensor on the TB or in the manifold? Is there an upgrade for the intercooler water pump? Has anyone wired the pump to run on a switch so I can cool it at the track in the staging lanes? Let me know maybe I am not caught up with the rest of you out there. Thanks

A blind guess would be your custom system is air bound. If it's air bound enough, you can dead head the flow of coolant or give a false reading on the coolant temp sensor. The sensor needs to be submerged in coolant to read anything.
