I need to replace the spark plug wires on my 1997 4 cyclinder Cavalier. Does anyone know how to get to the wires that are on the coil to remove them?

There should be a hood latch lever somewhere around your dash I believe.

The engine size makes adifference here, because the two are entirely different. Lets always try to post all info about a car (everyone, please?).

Either remove the cover or go in from below. If you need more than that, give us the engine size.

I was just joking with my post but you replied to mine and talked as you were speaking to the person who started the thread.

The ":icon16:" was my response to you. Everything else was to the OP.

wasn't hard for me

my sis' car had a 2.2L engine

is your's the 2.4L engine? then i don't think you have wires
confirmed: Coil on plug insulator and terminal

so yea, if you have the 2.2L, the wires are easily visible and routes to the back of the engine

they're hard to reach if its between the firewall and intake manifold, get someone w/ skinny arms and let them change it out, one at a time
