just doing the body stuff like lights and chrome trim. I love how Fujmi treats the tail lights...separate lense on a chrome backing...just used black ink for the recessed portion:

The trick to flawless BMF is to use one solid piece for the entire window frame. It took me a long time to overcome the waste issue, but then after the 5th or 6th new sheet of bmf because the old ones went bad, I started using it more liberally.

Nice job, I have a question, did you paint, or use foil for window frames since I'm trying to decide which to use for the '55 Bel-Air

That's BMF, as he stated that he's having issues with it. I doubt you'll get that kind of shine from any paint, unless it's like ginsan or allclad.

I made the little lace tie for the shift boot...out of phone stripped phone line wire twisted into a knot with a forcep...pardon the dust

i share the same peeve with the "wasteful" nature of BMF...i guess getting it right with one large piece is less stressful than a billion small ones:iceslolan

Yes, it is also much quicker too! you can do all 4 windows in the time that it takes to do one part of one window using the strip method.
The interior looks great. this one looks as if it's coming up on the white flag. I have no doubt that this one will take the checkered flag home!

On the home stretch here folks!
Finished all of the window trim with the BMF, here is the hatch:

unfortunately I got some glue/cement on the pass window, any suggestions on how to remove without making a mess?
The body/interior/chassis are together and now it's time to finish the suspension/exhaust/bumpers and apply all of the cool little things that make this car special:
