Hi, brought this car, it was hit on the left front side hard enough to depory the driver seat air bag, and it doesn't seem to have fuel pump working, was wondering if the air bag system would have anything to do with it, like a safty shut off or something. Oh and just noticed and error in post, this is a 2001, not a 2000

yah that's your problem on the air bag and also theres a switch in trunk you need to reset it. it should be on the drivers side in trunk by the left side of the finder weld you may have to pull up rug a little bit to see it....good luck....

thanks, I will look for the switch,... and does the seat air bag have to be replaced before the pump will work?

I looked for a switch, but couldn't fine one,.. can see pump wiring come from driver side just under back seat, and going to center to the pump, but no switch, and fuel pump fuse ok

I called a dealer, and the service mgt thought the fuel pump reset switch was on the firewall, I looked there too, and did not fine one there either
