Im probably in need of replacing one of my window motors, question is after i drill out the rivets can i get away with using nut and bolts to hold the motor back onto the regulator, and the regulator back onto the door??? I was thinking of putting some thread locker on just to be sure it wont come loose.

Yes you can use screws to replace the rivets.
I think i used 1/4" - 20 unc x 1/2" long hex head bolts with lock nuts.
No locktite required if using lock nuts.

While you have it apart, lube the window regulator plastic tape with some silicone spray and work it a few times. The window will operate much smoother and faster after doing this.

Windows can be a little tricky but you can do it.

Good luck

One more thing, mark where the regulator attaches to the window before removing the 2 10mm bolts holding the window in place so you can put it back in the same spot.
Saves possible headaches when reassembling.
