are DX headers the same as Si headers?

yeah...should be. I think I used a 92-95 dx header on my zc...had no probs :)

it should work. i have an 88-91 header on a 00 engine. the header is pretty much enterchangeable for all the d series

well the dc sports on my y8 came off the a6. it should bolt up directly. if anything the y8 headers holes might not exactly meet up....a little porting does the trick. or leave it alone and take the little hp loss until you swap in a y8 :evillaugh

the only problem I found was the the lower backet near the cat did not line up...no big deal in my opinion and I never had a problem with it.
