this is the 2nd time my front plate keeps falling off..I have an 82..its a slot in the front attached for it to be able to have a front license plate..but for the life of me it wont stay in..
for anyone who has a front vanity plate..how do you keep it on or were vanity plates not made to fit these cars?

there should be a metal bracket bolted onto the bottom of the bumper that you can screw a plate onto. does it have those little square nylon screw holes?

kind of hard to describe but here is how i have mine on, where you see the screws on the bottom holes holding the plate on are those little nylon holes, if yours dont have them you can pick them up at an auto parts store with the screws included, and they push into the square opening like how the rear plate is http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a367/pctvman/caprice008.jpg

Looks like you hood is raised a little on the right side.
Try adjusting the stop underneath the hood to correct this.
Gotta keep the body lines straight :iceslolan

oh ok, if you got something different than thats probably why yours isnt staying on. you can always get the right bracket for a front plate at a junkyard so you can attach a plate they way its supposed to
