lookin for someone on the west coast..

I was going to go with Hmotors.com, but they don't offer any kind of warranty at all, are they still good?

I was thinking about going with nippon cause they have what looks to be a good warranty.

whats a good place to get an engine that does tests and makes sures I'm covered if the fuckin thing blows up on me...

I've heard good things about Hmotors.com but I don't have any personal experience with them.

there you go dude...I think everyone here has had a good experience with those peeps..one thing that is important with a JDM engine is to make sure none of the sensors are broken...I think hmotorsonline is the only place that guarantees all of the sensors are intact ;)

Well if u want the BEST warranty go to Eric of Japans. Its located in chicago. 6 month warranty on the block and 3 months on the tranny. If anything goes wrong they'll replace it for you. I'll get the number for you if u want. Thats where i got my engine from.:)

a local friend just went through hm. he was happy as hell.....said customer service was above and beyond.

i have mixed feelings about nippon. they have been around a long time. but their warranty is no good. they give you a list of stuff that must be replaced by a shop or they wont honor the warranty. i have heard some :( stories about them over the last year.

I have heard only but good on hmotors and i plan to get my b18c1 from them. But when you go and read up on what they give you for what motor you want the do and i quote Motors average 35,000 miles and come with a 100% start up warranty. All Sensors are guaranteed not broken and in working condition! but i guess that is better than noting and plus you plan on modding out anyway so if something goes wrong then it gives you a reason to add aftermarket preformace parts !! :D :D

if they dont offer any warrantys then dont go with them. all if would take is one messed up engine, and your out 1500 bucks. i mean if they test them, and are so good why wouldnt they offer a startup warranty!

hmotors does offer a start up warranty, the motor i ordered from them(b16) came very clean with all sensors intact on the motor in a neatly packaged and well presented pallet, they are very nice and have quick shipping as well.

Mine was in bitchen condition! I garuntie it has less than 35,000 miles cause I tore it apart and it looks fresh as daisies as far as internals go! Valve cover did have a verry little crack in it, its about ------------- that big and its a hairline crack. Easy to fix wit my welder.
