This model has been eating dust in my closet for months as I purchased it with the intent of modifying it and making it look like my EJ8. Back then I didn't get started cause I didnt have any tools beside an x-acto, lol. I swear, I didnt even have crazy glue or paints. lol. Anyways now I do...

My goals: Make it look like my real EJ8 (which was the same goal I had with the trashed 1/25 coupe version), lower it, do some engine bay/engine detail, interior detail, (if engine detail has to be sacrificed, I think I'll still) add working lights, maybe foglights but not sure cause of thoughts of putting intercooler piping...

Real car.

The model already comes with tinted headlights. Here's a shot of mine. One on, one off. After one day I took'em off cause I also had just installed HIDs and the tint took away all the lumens I got from the HIDs...

Here I added epoxy and Bondo to cover some holes on the bumper. Exopy was horrible, never again working with that shit...

Some parts were primered (in grey). You can see some Bondo (Bondo is putty for those who dont know. But since I always buy Bondo brand putty, I call it Bondo) on the engine cause I started adding some mass to it so I can make the corners neat cause stock it looks like crap.

And I promise I wont touch this kit till the 1/25 Hatch is done. Oh, and I also got a 1/43 99 Civic Coupe (Modifiers) on the way.

Chill out with the term "ricer" this is an international forum and a lot of the members (myself included) find the term derogatory. Other than that, you have a decent project on your hands. I look forward to seeing the outcome of it. :sunglasse
