1990 Euro Lumina With Electronic Problems...

I just bought me a 1990 chevy euro lumina. replaced all sensors but the Vehicle speed sensor and the oil temp sensor. Car does not have acceleration.No matter how hard or soft you step on the petal it doesn't it slowly creeps up. Even if you jam down on the gas it still slowly accelerates. What could be wrong? Could it be a short to ground some where? Because the code 34 comes up. And I replaced the map sensor. I have done everything I could do now. I found out the brake power bosster went out. Could that effect it? Someone please give me some feed back

Welcome to AF. Possible bad cat, possible low fuel presssure, possible bad injectors, all these things need to be checked out for a proper diagnosis.

Does it maintain an even speed from flat to uphill after getting up to, say, 30 mph? Min. fuel pressure 37 psi key on engine running.

Has newER injectors, The guy I brought it from said that he put a new cat on it and thanks for the welcome. I don't know if it does keep up to that speed. Never made it over like 30 and it doesn't switch out of first unless you play the gas petal. Revving the engine up and down to make it switch. Does anyone knows what that means?

Tough to tell from here, but now it sounds like a trans issue, unless the engine doesn't have the power to achieve a trans upshift. Maybe a local tech should drive this for a better onsite diagnosis.
