1994 f 150 fuel problem

My 1994 f 150 has been sitting for about 6 months when i tried to start it the fuel pump ran continuous and the truck would not start. it ran fine before sitting could it be a bad pressure regulator

It could be a clogged up sock on the fuel pump, the pump will still run but long enough and it will burn the pump up. Also it should have a valve on the fuel rail, push it in see if your getting fuel pressure. let me know.
