Dual BOV Setup

Working on getting everything together for my build and had a question. Is dual BOVs worth doing? If you think about it, you want the air in the pipes to be released as quickly as possible so there's no surge, and if you have a BOV right at the TB and then maybe by the IC (maybe before it enters), seems like it would stop any chances of getting compressor surge. And I'm not talking about doing this running like 5psi, I'm talking more like 20-30psi.
Ideas? Thoughts?

I have already been threw this. There is no need to run dual BOVs untill you start getting compressor surge. Many people run 25psi on the 1g bovs with no problems. I dont think you have anything to worry about for your setup Dave. You probably will never need anything more than the 1g.
Now as far as having the BOV in front of the intercooler thats a bad idea. There are 2 reasons why you want your bov close to the TB. 1 - So the air doens't get much of a chance to go backwards when the throttle plate snaps shut and 2 - So you keep the air in the pipes moving forward. If you have a bov at the intercooler it will disrupt the air flow in the pipes between both bov. Some of the air in the intercooler may start to go 'backwards' trying to escape out of the closer bov. This is bad bc when you step on the gas again the turbo has to push that air moving backwards back in the other direction. This is the idea behind it, you may not notice a difference at all but I wouldn't do it.

Well I was only talking about having a BOV behind the IC in the dual BOV setup. One close to the TB to release all the pressure going in that direction, and then the second behind to IC to "catch & release" any pressure that happens to be going that way or just chilling over there.
