Hi,

Does anyone have any better pictures of this car from the 2008 Monte Carlo rally? I'm interested in finding out what the color is. Maybe someone with the decals could tell me what color is recommended. I was thinking maybe Tamiya clear orange over silver? Just a guess ....

Also, are there any changes that need to be made to the Tamiya 307 kit to make the 2008 version of the car?

Thanks for any help you can give me. You guys are always so helpful.

Hi,

it's the same color than Solberg's 307 (because it's his in fact bought to Bozian by Cuoq) and Solberg's Focus.

I can remind the exact RAL color (should be something like RAL2004 ??) but you may be able to use the TS-12 which is, if I'm right, the one recommended by Renaissance who made his decals to match this color.

It's not a metallic color so I won't recommend clear oragne over silver.

All 307 still available are in 2005 works team configuration. Nothing significant changed on the cars when coming in private teams hands.

Sorry for the big one (too big for the forum page) but I can't reduce it without reuploading it...

There's a lot more on the net, if you need some just "cuoq 2008" or "307 cuoq 2008" or "monte carlo cuoq" etc on google search engine.

Happy building !

There is an update set (produced by Renaissance IIRC) which has a couple of replacement parts to do the 04 & 05 factory cars correctly. As Phil said, the changes weren't major, but there were some

So, which ones are you thinking about ??
We aren't talking about 2004 and 2005 versions differences (do you ?? :screwy: ) but 2005 and private cars.
And I can't see any differences... except codriver onboard cell phone model and such really minor things like that (ears or not ears on seats etc) !
I have a lot of pics from french championhsip cars for example to verify it...

Moreover most of Renaissance TK's parts aren't "replacement" but complementary parts if we are talking of the same thing (he put in it some electronical boxes, wheels gun etc)

Quick question for you oregon...where did you get the livery(decals?) for that car its nice?I did the 307 wrc (red version) and found it to be a very enjoyable build.I assume its the tamiya kit?

Hey Phil. Sorry my bad. I think the set I was thinking about was actually a replacement rear wing & front air dam for the 206 for the 2004 season :uhoh::shakehead:rolleyes:
