I have liability only on my 93 civic si, wich i am modifieng right now, i hate liability only! I just cant afford full coverage. Anyway lets say someone steals my car or breaks into it, is that covered? And also does anyone know of some good alarm systems? I want one that when you touch the car it actually goes off, or one that when you get close it does like a warning beep. thanks

Umm no its not covered... I have full coverage though and they told me it included theft and accessories (they rephrased it meaning that if anyone breaks into it.. its covered). the problem is that I pay $270 a month. Mostly because of my age but I also heard because its a honda. And as for the alarm, I could have sworn that I head a viper alarm do that but then again I highly doubt it. I really wish I could help you there.

holy shit im 19 years old and if i was to pay full coverage on my car it would cost me about 450 for half a year in chicago...
anyways why dont u just call up your insurance company and ask them for details, they will give u a more detailed and trustworthy answer
and if your car gets broken into, if u have a crazy deck and subs you would have to declare them to your insurance company when u install them in order for them to be covered, so your insurance will go up even more

i have liability, and theft, thats it, so if someone steals my car or anything on it, its coverd, but they wont cover my car in a collision, i knew i should have done that before i crashed me Si........ :(

An alarm isnt going to stop a theif from taking your car.

As far as insurance, good luck! Im 20 and pay $900/6 months for just liability! My rates will be dropping significantly once my policy updates on 6/4/03 - till then im using KY Jelly :o
