Replacing Nut Kit and Fuel Pressure Reg. ??

Hi all,
I took the plenum off today because I have been having problems since about christmas. I had multiple misfire code, and we did a complete tune up before winter. The thing has been running rough for a while.

Anyway my 95 Jimmy 4.3 W hasn't been driving for at least 3 months, it ran just really rough. When I took the upper intake off, there was alot of gas (like a half inch) on the drivers side and like just a misting on the passenger side. I turned the key to the on position to see if I found any leaks and the Nut Kit is pouring on the driver side. From the Inlet tube.

Do I have to dig further to clean up this mess, or will draning my oil be enough? I'm going to replace the Fuel pressure regulator and put on the new Nut kit, but the injectors look sealed. I'm not sure if I should take the rest of the intake off or not?

Any advice would be apprecated??

Recheck for leaks and fuel pressure and leak down after nut kit and reg replace and before you put the upper intake back on.

If gas in oil change oil and filter.

I changed the fpr and the nut kit, put it back together, but now I have no fire at all! I put the scanner on it and it has P0123 which is TPS High circuit, I'm not sure if this is related, but the truck ran when I started this project, so it has to be something simple that I've overlooked. Should I restart this project for something internal? Does the CPI cause no spark or what gives??

CPI and spark are not kin to each other.
For no spark check all plug ins for everything plugged up.
All fuses good?

I finally got it fixed, yesterday, I found the plug onthe bottom of the coil was loose. But once I found that it started right up and runs like a new truck, you can barely even tell it's running. Thank you MT for your help. All my codes cleared out as well. So until next time and hopefully it will be a while.

You are welcome and thanks for posting back how it went and the fix.
Glad you found the problem.
Good Luck with it.

were you able to buy just the fuel pressure regulator? That's all I need for mine. Thanks.
