tick tick tick knock

yup my engines starting to show its age. ima do an oil change tomm, but with the ticking and the knocking, replaceing the lifters would be the right way to go right????? correct me if im wrong thanks

Ticking is definitely lifters, and should get better after the change. The knocking may be something else.
