Brush Guard Fitment?

I found a brush guard for sale. The only problem is that it came of a 03 Expedition. The guy that is selling it has a 06 F150 and he needs to buy brackets so it will fit is truck. My question is can I put it on my 03 F150 and buy different brackets for it or would it not work at all?
