96 Cadillac Deville Issues....

My SERVICE TRANSMISSION notice is coming on and it shift harder when that happens. Anyone tell me what might be the issue I need have looked at?

Also. Haven't had this car for long and it's time A/C is needed. I don't find an A/C button and if I put the digital gage to 60 (the lowest temp it shows)....it just blows air, not A/C. Ideas? Should I hear a compressor come on? I don't hear anything.

This will require a full scan with a trans function scanner to properly diagnose the problem. The AHVAC system is BCM controlled, if the outside temp is 70 and you set it at 60 the air should be cool/cold. could be low on feon or the controls are skewed, this requires additional diagnosis.
