98 dodge durango parking light trouble

i have a 98 durango. headlights work but no parking lights. replaced headlight switch. headlight switch on inside ( metal part) gets hot. thinking it may be a bad ground....headlight switch wire connection looks like it got hot...does anyone know which wire is the ground?? any help???

the headlamp switch goes to the ctm
