any ideas? my minivan 1998 ply voyager 143k miles acting funny but its always the same but sometimes it doesnt do it. what could be wrong?
when i take off it shift to 2nd gear then when it shift to 3rd gear thats where the jiggles or jerk comes in then when i prepare to slows down it jiggles again. but after the jiggles it runs fine at 40mph, 50mph and so on. i can drive it for hrs on freeway but it does not do it. only when i stop and go again. but then agai when its cold its ok i dont feel anything.
have anybody have this symptom? it doesnt sound mechanical but seems like the shifting on 3rd gear is off or late. does it has to do something with the TCM?
how about the axle sync? is it possible that one of them loose? or have play on it? input axle or the output axle?
im planning to go for a long drive tjis weekend and im not sure if its safe to drive it with the family.
pleadse help and thank you :shakehead

Have you checked with the dealer for cost to do a flash of tcm??? or have you had a shop hook up a transmission capable scanner to check for codes or tranny values?? Seems like that is the only way you are going fix your peoblem.

i called the dealers and cost mostly $105 and up for just to diagnose the problem and
$59 to hook up a scanner which is they say same thing if you do MIL code on your dashboard. i did that but i got no codes at all, even do the system check and no codes all is normal.
will try to take the axles out tomorrow and see if theres play or if they loose or worn out.
