Hello to all.
I am working on a 92 Bronco. The trouble is that upon trying to crank it over, it acts like it is hydraulic ing. It will crank for a sec or two, then acts like it wants to lock up. Is it possible that the injectors are putting too much fuel in the cylinders causing this.
Any and all input is greatly appreciated!
Blessings to all

Did you pull the distributor it acts like it is out of time. If you didn't roll it over by hand until appx. 60 degrees past TDC then roll back to TDC pull the distributor cap mark the rotor tip. Roll the engine over until the rotor just starts to move stop. If it moved over 20 degrees before it started to turn the chain is stretched.

My bad. It is not a Bronco, it is a Explorer. 4.0 cid.
Distributorless, batch fuel injected. Runs fine after starting, just takes alot of cranking to get it started. Once it starts, runs fine.
Thank you for the fast replying!
