Front Suspension Problems...help!

Ok, after much calling around and research on the Net...(not very mechanically inclined)..I've discovered my front suspension on my '99 Conti is passive front suspension.
Since I have no remote ride control options.
Yesterday, the coil spring broke and i cannot find one for the life of me. The local junk yard has some front-end parts for a TC and the dealer wants $345.
I've checked all the auto parts places around here and they say it's not even in their books...
Question: Does anyone know where I could get the spring for the driver's front? I'll even buy the entire strut if I have to.

Ask Mike, Aka "Junkyarddoggie" over in the Town Car forum.. I'll bet money you have Crown Victoria front struts, but there are others that might fit too (Taurus) , Mike would know for sure.

Forgot to update. Someone at another forum pointed me towards rockauto. I bought just one strut assembly for now @ $119, will have to get the other one next month - (disabled Vet, payday).
Take it easy..

@Towncar...thanx. The Ford part came but didn't have a spring...which is the part I need. My mechanic got one for just over 3 bills...check out FordPartsCenter.net.
Returned the other part to rockauto.

Son of a Bi***...! It's for the right side, but I bet the spring would have worked....
Oh, well. Bad timing I guess.
**edit..
Found a set of two with springs for $429...I couldn't wait though. I had Dr appointments almost 100 miles away and needed to get 'er fixed.

Now, whenever I'm completely stopped and accelerate while turning left or right...the front-end makes a loud clunk (left for left turn, right for right turn). It almost feels like something is slipping then catching. Hmm...
Can you say moneypit!!??
