Coolant Leak on 97 Taurus 3.0L

Hey All,
My daugter's 97 Taurus 3.0L engine just started leaking coolant and it has basically drained all out. I got it home and on ramps to check origin of lead and all I can see is coolant running down a separator plate between the engine and transmission. I can see absolutely no signs of any leakage from up on top but only see where it is dripping down on the bottom of the engine. Also, I cannot see any mounting bolts for that plate.
A buddy suggested maybe there might be cold plugs located on that end of the engine facing the transmission but he was not sure. Also, any ideas on pdf parts breakdown downloads?
You all are real helpful here.
Thanks in Advance!

You do Have freeze plugs on the block facing the transmission and it sounds as if you have one leaking

Thanks for the input. A couple of buddies and I ended up fixing the problem and it went something like this:

1-Build a brace above the engine from which to suspend the engine.
2-Remove the lower engine support system, including the subframe, necessitating the removal of the F strut and shock assys, the Y shaped exhaust piece, oxygen sensors, etc, among other things.
3-Lower the transmission, including draining the tranny, and move it far enough out of the way to access the end of the block.
4-Replace both freeze plugs. Total cost of parts actually needed to fix the presenting problem: less than $5. Total time to replace freeze plugs, including running to parts store for a 2nd pair of plugs, less than an hour.
5-Reassemble everything, including a new tranny filter, pan gasket, fluid.
6-Might as well do an oil change while we are at it.
7-Remove bracing system in #1 above.
8-Honor buddies with restaurant and Craftsmen gift cards...priceless compared to their sacrifice.

PS-Even though we are now experienced in this job, we don't ever want to have to do it again, LOL.

Thanks!
