In my 2005 ford explorer 4.0 flex fuel. On cold mornings it seems sluggish to start (battery?) anyway after it starts the trip computer goes into some weird diagnostic mode and it reads part# 5lt210849aa and trouble codes 9318, 9352, 9317. I cant seem to find the codes anywhere online any info would be appreciated.

I am having this same exact problem same part number come across, same trouble codes.
Wondering if you ever found out what this was. A couple of times I didn't think it was gonna start at all. Just started hapening 2 days ago.
I also have a 2005 ford explorer.

Have either of you tried replacing the battery and confirming the system voltage is good? Modern cars have so many electronics that a momentary reset due to low system voltage is not uncommon as the batteries get weak. In general, if the reset occurs during an initialization state the memory can be corrupted, requiring a subsequent initialization sequence. I can't say for certain this is what's happening in this instance, but it sure seems reasonable. If you have the OEM battery that battery is at the end of it's expected life now with 4-5 years of service on it.
