Dual exhaust for a 1970 Delta 88

Has anyone ever made a dual exhaust for their Delta 88? Mine's a 1970 model with an Olds 350 and TH-400 automatic.

I need to how to route the left side pipe around the steering box, the tie-rod, and the starter. I also need to know what to do about the weird crossover that goes into the passenger side manifold.

Any advice and help would be welcome.

This is the problem with 88's thru 71. I think the manifold you need to find is the letter 'S' and is different than the ones used on the A bodies (Cutlass/442). A little hard to find the S unless someone is now repro'ing them?

Which car did the "S" manifolds come on?

Would I have any luck with trying manifolds for any Oldsmobile with a 330 and dual exhaust?

And there is a company called Thornton Reproductions who makes dual exhaust manifolds for the Small block Olds. But they are out of my budget right now.

Sorry this reply is a month old.

I put duals on an old Olds engine. The crossover inlet pipe to the right side manifold can be capped with a piece of steel and brazed on, or the last couple of inches of exhaust pipe can be cut off, and the stub closed off and welded shut.
This leaves you with both manifolds with ordinary outlets. I found it's best to have a muffler shop with a custom pipe bender make the pipes for you.

I use to have 64 cutlass with a 330 and put duel exhaust on it. To plug the 2nd opening on one manifold we welded shut the end of about a 3 in long piece of exhaust pipe and bolted it up to the unused manifold opening. I don't remember having any special problems running 2 exhaust pipes to the back of the car, but that's a different year and model.
