Earth Strap Location

Can someone please give me directions on where to find the 'earth straps' on a Renault Megane Scenic 1 (1997 RT 1.6)
I've read a number of forums diagnosing the exact symptoms my car has.
Intermittently dead, flickering dash, battery totally fine, sometimes a swift jolt (eg: slam door) brings electrics back to life.
I think my earth strap/s must be coroded and/or loose but I dodn't know where to find them, what they look like, and how to access them.
Please help!

Hi,
Im not sure where they are located on your car, but look around under the bonnet around the engine block or the body of car for a strap that is bolted to the body work under the bonnet or on the engine block....looks like a braided metal possibly with black casing around it. Also look under the car if you can there maybe 2 straps. Check battery earth too. Hope this helps.
