04 Escalade speedometer sticking

I have a 04 cadillac escalade that the speedometer sticks even when i warm the truck. it sticks at the highest number. i can sometimes get it back down to the zero. can someone help me out. also my cigarette lighter blew out so how would i fix it?

For the speedo problem, how many miles do you have? The problem is covered under GM special policy for 7 years or 70,000 miles (very common problem). If you are under the mileage, bring your truck to a dealer and they will give you a new cluster free of charge. As for the cig lighter problem, did you check the fuse? Depending on which socket it is, it may be the "cig ltr" fuse of the "aux pwr" fuse in the underhood fuse block.
