1994 caprice won't move!!

1994 CAPRICE CLASSIC 4.3L
I CAN CRANK THE CAR ACCELERATE IT IN PARK AND NEUTRAL BUT WEN I PUT IT IN ANY GEAR IT WNT ACCELERATE I CAN PUT IT IN REVERSE IT WILL ROLL BACK AND I CAN PUT IT IN DRIVE IT WILL ROLL FORWARD SLOW AS HELL (REPLACED FUEL FILTER,MASS AIR FLOW,MAP SENSOR, PLUGS AND WIRES) WAT COULD IT BE:banghead: (TORQUE CONVERTER???) (OPTI SPARK????) (FUEL PUMP)PLEASE HELP:confused:

when you put in gear is the engine rpm going up....when you hit the throttle...?

Have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition? Usually if a transmission wont do anything it's fluid related.

no rpm is not going up at all

checked transmission fluid level it was a little low added some fluid still the same and fluid is normal color with no burnt smell

remove the upstream O2 sensors and see if the problem lessens,,,,physically remove.....if so the cat is /or exhaust is plugged..

also if you have a severe exhaust leak near the engine the KS may retard the timing severely.....

check the KS connectors for security and corrosion....
