My friend and i took her car to jiffy lube to get an oil change. They didn't change the service indicator it still says 5700/6months... how do you change it?? they couldn't figure it out.

Get in the car, shut the door, don't put the key in the ignition/turn the ignition on. Press and HOLD the info button until you hear a beep, usually takes 3 seconds or so. Once you do that and the service thing pops up, hit the info button once and it should reset.

Dealers will reset it for free.... and you can also reset it:
1. press the info button until you get to the service reminder screen
2. press and hold the info button while on that screen for about 2 seconds
3. It will falsh and if you press the info button again it will switch from "---" to "CLEAR"
This can not be reset while the ignition is in the ON position
