I know there's already a new Cuda thread just started, but hey, I had already bought this kit and besides, there can't be too many Cuda's can there?
I'm not much of a scratch builder so this will be an out-of-box build.
This is the box for the kit from Revell in 1/24th scale. Simpler than the Hemi Cuda release in that it has most of the muffler sculpted to the frame and underbody. The box shows a vinyl top, but that would need to be added. Pretty nice details throughout with a decent decal sheet...

Am thinking of going with the color on the right (for something completely different - I just like the combo!) Not exactly the same, but this is a Street Machine, so some mods are expected! ;)

Haven't started much really, just glued on the front and rear fascias, and front grill, so far, shown with a little bit of putty. The lines are pretty good but still need to file and sand.

Rear seams fit well, but the sprue tab needs filing down.

Well, a minor update, I finally have some paint on it. Not the color I was looking for (not the color in the can above, either), because I thought that the color I used out of the can would be more brown. So I used a white primer and it came out like this. Oh, well. It's not all that bad and I'll stick with it for this build.

And another shot here. The wheels are from a snap-kit corvette, just used them for reference. I still plan on going with the kit supplied center-lines.

Will try to make more progress on the engine and clear the body before adding details this weekend.

The orange background is not good for viewing the car however, the work you have done looks good so far! It should look good when you get finished!

Thanks, TW! I'm working on a 'portable photo studio' now, so will see if i can improve the picture quality.
